Summer Camping

OSU had another first over the weekend: a camp for junior college athletes only.

On Saturday afternoon it was the first Junior College Camp that Oklahoma State has ever hosted. Other schools have done the format and the Cowboys staff was concerned with the numbers it would draw.

Many of these junior college players have been through the camp process enough as they were coming through high school, but there were 40 players that went through the camp… [GoPokes $]

I’m not sure you draw the Chris Carson’s and Calvin Barnett’s to camps like this but if you find a guy or two to fill a hole it’s a worthwhile venture.

Pressure Creates Diamonds

Mason Rudolph puts up big time numbers – and he’s even better under pressure.

Some guys just have “it” and “it”‘s been proven over time.

Firstly, he’ll enter the 2018 draft with loads of experience. He’s already started 29 games and thrown 958 passes. As far as efficiency, Rudolph’s figures are stunning. He has 55 touchdowns to just 17 interceptions in his college career, including a 28/4 TD/INT ratio in 2016. [CBS Sports]
