Big Cole
One of Joe Bob’s stud defensive ends is the perfect picture of an Oklahoma State football player.
“He’s always been a superhero around here, but he’s never once acted like it,” Carney said. “He’s carried that same work ethic up there, and he’s thrived.”
Walterscheid is trying to take it day-by-day, but wherever he goes, the legend of Big Cole will follow.
“Just a kid from a small town who’s worked as hard as he could at each and every thing he does,” Walterscheid said. “Just taking the path that God gives me.” [O’Colly]
Just another under-the-radar, chip-on-his-shoulder athlete working his way over time to impact games in big ways.
May Madness
While Texas heads west to California and OU heads to Kentucky, OSU hops on highway 412 to play a bunch of teams who’ve already met.
Oklahoma State’s beaten all three teams throughout the season but has lost to Oral Robert’s twice (they’ve played three times). Missouri State has only beaten Oral Robert’s once (played twice) and has lost to Arkansas once (played once). And then by swift detective work, Arkansas has gotten beat by Oklahoma State once and beaten Missouri State once. [GoPokes – $]
Baseball’s one of those sports where second chances don’t feel so crazy and with so much parity in the group, good luck to anyone picking the winner.

Not a great look for Snyder but he’s within the rules.
