• Will one of Chuba Hubbard’s biggest obstacles to a Heisman be in his own locker room? There’s an argument it could have been one of the biggest deterrents for Justice Hill.
Star running back Justice Hill was fresh off a 1,400-yard rushing season in his sophomore year. We all thought that 1,400 yards was a given and when the regular season was over, the Cowboys were sitting at 6-6 and Hill did not even reach 1,000 yards. In fact, in six games of that year, Hill did not have more than fifteen carries.
Now I know Hill was banged up but there is no doubt in my mind that he was not used properly that season for whatever reason. It felt like the staff was holding Justice back. [HCS]
I think they were two different players – Hill wasn’t quite the right frame for an every-down, between-the-tackles back while Hubbard fits the bill much more.
• This fifteen minute video touring OSU’s football facility is a great way to spend your time:

• Fun list of familiar faces to OSU fans that the Pokes will see this football season
• A walk-on running back for the Cowboys is hitting the transfer portal
• Trey Reeves leaving his mark in a different way than his pops, but still good!
Hard work pays off.
Congrats to @ReevesTrey on earning the Big 12's Dr. Prentice Gautt Postgraduate Scholarship.

• Not OSU-related but major props to the University of Maine’s football marketing group for this incredible poster.
Last week we released the final version of our 2020 schedule poster. However, it was a close vote for this year's poster design so we thought it was important to share the runner-up version…#BlackBearNation | #ChampionshipMentality | #CAAFB pic.twitter.com/SG4FjhtTqO

• Elon Musk had some good thoughts on takes – having a voice vs. being right
• Why it’s better that journalists (and everybody) don’t use the word “expert”
Jerry Seinfeld had some good thoughts on being driven to accomplish by will or by loving something. I’m not sure if I agree but it’s certainly thought-provoking.
Loved this few minutes of Jerry Seinfeld on Howard Stern the other day.
Just listen to it. pic.twitter.com/QqhzoN06ne
