• The Cowboys are headed to the NCAA Tournament in golf later this month after finishing second at the Marana Regional yesterday (X)
• The Big 12 had a bit of a quarterback refresh this year – but OSU’s Drew Mestemaker is certainly in the top-tier (PFB)

• The Pokes have their first game in the Big 12 baseball tournament this morning, some are projecting the Pokes to win the thing:
Give me the Oklahoma State Cowboys to win it all. The Cowboys are one of the hottest teams in the Big 12 right now, having won 12 out of their last 15 games. After a shaky start to the season, they caught fire quickly and have played their way into being a solid two seed when the postseason comes around. [HCS]
• Don’t sleep on the Cowboys’ most recent addition at 174 pounds – he could compete for a starting spot with significant potential:
“I think this is a difference-making addition for Oklahoma State… I think he could be a national champion at 174.” @CPyles8 loves the Lorenzo Norman pickup for the Cowboys#FRL presented by @AthletePS pic.twitter.com/xFBRcbcQSc

• It appears the Cowgirls will have at least one advantage over Nebraska when they play in softball today – here are three storylines going into the game:

Fun fact: Oklahoma’s average height last year was also 68.05 pic.twitter.com/EwcEjDUqwa — Unusual Softball (@UnusualSoftball) May 18, 2026

“Often we fail to improve our lives simply because things don’t get bad enough. If your new job is hell, you’ll leave it, but if it’s just unsatisfying, you’ll likely grind it out. Thus, small problems often threaten our quality of life more than big ones.” Gurwinder Bhogal
