Daily Bullets (Sept. 10): Digging into Oregon

Thanks for stopping by – here’s your daily dose of Oklahoma State sports news.

OSU Bullets

• All the Oregon intel – what Oregon players said, what Oregon’s head coach said, plus three more things to know (PFB)

• A non-biased Big 12 writer predicting the OSU-Oregon game (HCS)

• Looking at Eric Morris and his former American Athletic conference peers that took Power Four jobs –  this statement appears to be proving out regarding roster construction:

Continuity buys a coach a head start on terminology. It doesn’t make him a better player than the one lining up across from him. Three athletic directors spent the winter betting it did, but it didn’t quite work out in their debuts. [CBS Sports]

• No sight of the Cowboys in ESPN’s bottom-ten of college football (ESPN)

• Pokes join a solid slate of games this week – OU/Michigan, Ohio State/Texas, and Iowa State/Iowa (without Matt Campbell) will draw eyes:

• See Lewis & Clark’s journey on Google Earth

• Ten things to hate about college football (for those of us who love college football) Can’t tell if this would solve analysis paralysis or create more – I think it’s the former.

There is always more than one way to do something. Write down as many ways as you can think of to achieve your desired outcome. Then, rank them based on how much time they take, how much money they cost, and how effective you expect them to be. Choose the best.
