Football: Cowboys 27, Sun Devils 15


OSU Bullets

• The Cowboys move to 2-0 after defeating the Sun Devils late Saturday. [PFB]

OSU won a nondescript game, which is what we ought to expect from a nondescript team. But the Cowboys again found a way to run the ball after zero rushing yards in the first half. And the OSU defense got six straight stops after ASU took a 15-7 lead midway through the second quarter…
Strange game. But if you’re going to be a mediocre team and play strange games, at least you ought to win them, and the Cowboys now have done that twice; 2-0 beats 0-2 anytime.
