• The big question about this Cowboy squad – can they be road warriors? TBD.

I’m not ready to say this team can for sure get in the mix for a Big 12 title game appearance, but I also don’t see reason to be terrified of anyone on the Big 12 schedule at this point. I voted the Pokes No. 8 in the 247Sports Big 12 Power Rankings this week, but the biggest challenge is that they play three of the seven teams I had ahead of them on the road — Kansas State, Houston and Arizona State. That’s where this season is going to be decided. Is this a good road team? We don’t know yet.  [GoPokes 247 $$$]
