• Couple of nuggets from Eric Morris’ press conference yesterday – running back two gig is wide open + Jacob Sexton was ruled out for the rest of the year (PFB) • ESPN’s SP+ projects the Pokes to lose 37-16 to Oregon (X) • Eric Morris pointed out you can’t get where you want to be if you don’t know where you are.

“But the only thing is, I’m excited because I know exactly where we’re at right now as a program, as a team, where we did OK, where we were just awful and you start making a checklist of things you got to improve on, right? And can you do that all in one day? Absolutely not. I know exactly where we’re at. There are things that obviously were not good.” [PFB]

• The short history of competing between OSU and Oregon (PFB) • We’ll see if it was a bad game, responding poorly to pressure, or just where he’s at – but Drew Mestemaker has some growth ahead of him.
