Ramon nearly 75 percent done
Great Ramon Richards profile here by Mark Cooper.
Now, he has channeled what many think of as a gift: His excitable, optimistic personality. “I have a sense, an idea of when I can be ecstatic and when there’s a time to buckle down and get serious a little bit,” Richards said. A junior cornerback, Richards’ Oklahoma State career will be 75 percent complete after Thursday’s Alamo Bowl versus Colorado. If it feels like it has gone fast, that is because it has; Richards never redshirted and started more than half of his true freshman season. [Tulsa World]
Do as I say …
Mike Gundy opens up about partying too much in college.
Said Gundy: “My ‘off the field’ was somewhat of a distraction for me and then my preparation wasn’t as good as it should have been in the offseason. I would go and do whatever I needed to do, but I wasn’t doing more than that. I was going out. That’s what I did.” [NewsOK]
I wonder what Gundy’s neon palms were … also, here is the team at Dave & Busters on Monday.
Team 96
Vincent Taylor and his dad will make a NFL decision after this season is over.
Once the Alamo Bowl is done, father and son will sit down and make a decision. “As a kid playing the game, I always dreamed about going into the NFL,” Vincent said. “To be in this situation, it’s just an honor. “I feel like I’m in a win-win situation.” Vincent Taylor knows it’s a situation he wouldn’t have been in without his dad, so he isn’t about to make a final decision about the NFL without Victor being part of this, too. How will OSU get it done?
This, in no way, looks like an easy victory for the Pokes. Colorado plays with an effort and motivation that few teams match. However, Gundy went through rough times with OK State more times than not in bowl games during the last five years. This year feels different. With Rudolph and wide receiver James Washington likely returning for the 2017 season there’s a lot on the line. A quick start from Hill and Carson coupled with a full month to prepare for the Buffs pass defense lets the OK State offense fully open up. [FOX Sports]
I hope that’s accurate.
This is Joe Bob Clements!

This is awesome.
More PFB
Scouting Yankuba Sima … Pokes finish with top three B12 offense … Texas flipped Derek Kerstetter … So about Brad Underwood’s recruiting abilities … Dez caught two TDs and threw one last night.
Feel free to weigh in on this.
If PFB could launch anything in 2017, what should it be? ?
