Mike Gundy’s 100th

This was amazing — former OSU players and coaches honored Mike Gundy on his 100th win. [PFB]

Recap:

Larry Fedora on Gundy: “Of all the head coaches I’ve been around, Mike has done as good as job as anybody balancing his time between family and coaching. I think he’s probably done a better job than anybody I’ve been associated with. Over the years there were probably quite a few things that people were not aware of that Mike would schedule around his sons’ activities. He has shown that you can be successful and still have some sort of balance in your life.” [NewsOK]

Gundy is now one of just 10 coaches to win 100 games only at their alma mater. [CRFF]

Gundy on being bowl eligible: “It didn’t even get brought up today in my press conference and I didn’t think of it until now and that used to be a big deal. We have created a monster here and with social media and every other outlet out there the only way you can feed it is wins. You have to keep winning and that is what we have created. I still have to look at that, but also what are we doing for the players and for their future.” [Go Pokes — $]
