Daniel Cormier Picks Up Birthday Tab for Woman Battling Cancer
The champ makes one family’s day.
Daniel Cormier continues to prove that he is one of the best representatives Oklahoma State University has to offer.
According to TMZ the former Cowboy wrestler and current UFC heavyweight champion went to dinner with his family at Sapporo, a hibachi restaurant in Monterey, California. They were seated next to a fan, Pete Guzman, and his mother Rosario who were celebrating her birthday. At the end of the meal when Guzman went to pay their bill they were told it had already been taken care of.
Cormier had no knowledge of the woman’s battle with cancer and even sung happy birthday at the table for Rosario. According to her son Pete, “Mom was loving every second of it.”
