Former OSU star Viktor Hovland earned his fourth career win on the PGA Tour on Sunday in a playoff to rake in a $3.6 million payday, bringing his earnings this season on the Tour to nearly $10 million. So of course on Monday, in true Hovland fashion, he celebrated by … caddying for his former teammate, Zach Bauchou.

Yes, yes, you read that right.

Millionaire Viktor Hovland fresh off one of his biggest performances of his pro career was on the bag early Monday morning for former OSU teammate Zach Bauchou on what is known as Golf’s Longest Day — where amateurs from across the country compete for 36 holes to try and earn a spot in this year’s U.S. Open.

This video is pretty amazing when you consider how the last few days have unfolded for Hovland. (Photo below is from the PGA Tour.)

Viktor Hovland: a great golfer, possibly an even better human and friend. Which is saying something.

So cool.

Bauchou, by the way, is trying to qualify for this year’s U.S. Open at the U.S. Open Qualifying event in Columbus, Ohio. A key piece of OSU golf’s 2017-18 national title winner, he looks to secure a spot in this year’s U.S. Open field along his former teammate and roommate in Hovland, who is overnight becoming one of golf’s biggest stars.
