DeQuinton Osborne Released by the Dallas Cowboys
DeQuinton Osborne might have been OSU’s most underrated player coming out this season. He wreaked havoc on opposing QBs accounting for a team-high six sacks as well as leading the Cowboys with 11.5 tackles for loss last season.
Unfortunately, his NFL journey hit a snag on Wednesday as the undrafted free agent was released by the Dallas Cowboys.
#DallasCowboys have signed WR Mekale McKay, DT Antwaun Woods and RB Darius Jackson, its 2016 sixth-round pick, while they have released G Jay Robertson and DT DeQuinton Osborne.

One day earlier, the Forth Worth Star-Telegram released a feature on Osborne and his mother, telling a pretty incredible story about how she raised him almost by herself and at a young age. It also relayed the hard work he put in to not only qualify for Division I football, but to ultimately earn a degree from Oklahoma State.
There is still the possibility that Osborne gets called back by the Cowboys or even earns a spot with another team as the season draws near and more roster moves take place.
