Desmond Howard Predicts Oklahoma State in the National Championship
The former Heisman winner has faith in the Pokes.
Many are wondering if this is the year Oklahoma State can beat Oklahoma and win a Big 12 title. Well, College GameDay’s Desmond Howard thinks this is the year OSU beats Clemson and competes for a national title.
The College GameDay crew redid their CFP picks on Saturday morning’s show with the addition of the Big Ten, and Howard, a former Heisman Trophy winner at Michigan, predicted a Final Four of Clemson, Alabama, Ohio State and Oklahoma State. Pokes’ fans would probably be OK with Howard stopping there, but he went a step further and put OSU in the national title game against Alabama.

For what it’s worth, OSU is 1-0 all-time against Alabama, beating the Tide 34-31 in the 2006 Independence Bowl. OSU has never played Clemson.
