Dez Bryant Jr. Announces Oklahoma State Offer
Bryant ran a 4.46 40 earlier this year.
Oklahoma State has a proud history in all sorts of college sports, but there might’ve not ever been a more physically imposing athletic freak to step on campus than Dez Bryant.
On Monday, Bryant’s son, Dez Bryant Jr., announced he has been offered to play football at Oklahoma State.
Blessed to receive an offer from OSU! All glory to God. More work to do. Grateful, focused, just getting started. #AGTG @leemunn87 @CoachRazloznik @CoachL_OBrien @coachwetzel_ @__CoachMorris @drobalwayzopen @SLC_Recruiting @CarrollDragonFB pic.twitter.com/qtPTTJfIBS

The younger Dez is a wide receiver prospect in the 2028 recruiting class out of Southlake Carroll (TX), having previously spent time at Colleyville Heritage (TX). He’s also received offers to play at Texas A&M, SMU and Kentucky.
He’s listed at 5-foot-10, 180 pounds and was credited with a 4.46 40-yard dash at a recent Under Armour event.
It’s still early days when it comes to prospects in the 2028 class, and thus, Bryant Jr. isn’t ranked as of yet, but certainly will be with a starting offer sheet like that.
If you’ve been living under a rock, the elder Dez was a standout in Stillwater.
He played in 28 games (thanks, NCAA), where he caught 147 passes for 2,425 yards and 29 touchdowns. He was also a standout in the return game, housing three punts as a Cowboy.
Bryant was a consensus All-American in 2008 after catching 87 passes for 1,480 yards and 19 touchdowns. That season ranks second in OSU’s history in touchdown receptions, trailing only the 20 Justin Blackmon caught in 2010. Despite his college career being cut short, Bryant still ranks fifth in program history in career touchdown receptions.
The Dallas Cowboys ended up taking Bryant with the 24th pick in the 2010 NFL Draft, and he’d go on to become one of the better NFL players OSU has produced. In eight seasons in Dallas, Bryant caught 537 passes for 7,506 yards and 75 touchdowns. He was a three-time Pro Bowler and a First Team All-Pro selection.
