Dez Bryant Makes Emphatic Return from Injury Against Philadelphia

Published

on

After suffering a minor knee injury that forced him to ride the pine for over a month, Dez Bryant made a statement in his return to the field in primetime on Sunday night.

Bryant looked fresh and confident, and it showed in his 113 yard, 1 TD performance that helped topple rival Philadelphia. His longest catch was a 53-yarder, but perhaps his most notable was this red zone touchdown reception in the fourth quarter that he sucked up like a vacuum.

This catch tied the game at 23 and Dallas went on to win 29-23 in OT.

“I think it was the Malcolm Jenkins incident,” Bryant said of why he plays so well against the Eagles. “He busted my lip two years ago, and it bothered me. I don’t know. In my mind, it’s over with – but I guess, when I see them … y’know?

“The best team win I ever been a part of in my life was tonight, and I love every bit of it,” Bryant said.”

If you had Bryant on your fantasy team (like me!), then you probably woke up a pretty happy man.
