Dismissed Oklahoma State Guard Zack Dawson Signs With USF
Former Oklahoma State guard Zack Dawson, a four-star prospect who signed with OSU in the 2017 recruiting class, has landed with USF. Dawson was dismissed from OSU’s program along with Davon Dillard last season for failing to meet team standards.
Dawson averaged 4.4 points, 1.6 assists and 0.8 rebounds per game in five appearances for Oklahoma State, but his adjustment from the preps to Div. I was far from smooth. Despite his billing as a top-150 recruit, Dawson struggled to crack the two-deep at point guard, and at times looked a step slower than the competition.
Welcome to the Bay, Zack!

Dawson’s decision to sign with USF is a boon for both the school, which rarely signs players of his caliber, and for Dawson, who returns to his native state of Florida.
