ESPN’s GameDay Crew Predicts an OSU Win over Baylor
The ESPN crew picks 3-1 in favor of the Cowboys, and shouts out a Stilly staple.
On Saturday morning, ESPN’s GameDay crew predicted an Oklahoma State win over Baylor, 3-1, during this week’s edition of Saturday Selections.
The fans voted in favor of the Pokes, just slightly, with 51% picking the Pokes.
Desmond Howard favors OSU over the Bears because the Cowboys are “tested.” But celebrity guest picker, 2021 Ryder Cup champ, Harris English gave the edge to the Pokes because over his love for the town and a Stillwater staple.
“Yeah, I love Stillwater,” said English. “Been there many a time. Been to Eskimo Joe’s, one of my favorite places. I’m gonna go with Oklahoma State.”
“I’m for Oklahoma State and Eskimo Joe’s,” echoed Lee Corso.
The lone holdout, Kirk Herbstreit pointed to Baylor’s defense as the reason he’s predicting a Bears victory.
“I’m going to go with Baylor with the defense and the way they’ve been playing, and I also think Gerry Bohanon is gonna make enough plays,” Herbstreit said.
The Cowboys and Bears kickoff at 6 p.m. inside Boone Pickens Stadium. The game will be televised on ESPN2.
