The five-star point guard has made several unofficial visits to Stillwater, and one as recently as June. But having Young on campus visiting in an official visit capacity could be huge for Brad Underwood and his staff to show him how they envision using him in his motion offense, and laying out real plans for his future. And based off what I’ve seen and heard, Young may be leaning toward the OU/UK/KU trio in his top 3. So if an official visit to Stillwater goes well, it could go a long ways to closing the gap between the other schools who many believe to be the top contenders to land him.
According to Adam Zagoria of Zagsblog.com, Young seems to be targeting a December decision for his commitment. The clock is ticking.
