Former Baylor Commit Names OSU in top 5
Baylor’s 2017 recruiting class that was once held in high regard has whittled it’s way to one committed prospect. And schools from near and far have been poaching the Bears class with uncertainty at head coach and the scandal surrounding the school. Including Oklahoma State. The Cowboys have been in pursuit of defensive back Noah Daniels of League City, Texas, and earlier on Thursday he named the Pokes in his top 5 schools.
Top 5 Schools (Alphabetical Order)
1. Missouri ⚫️?
2. Oklahoma ⭕️
3. Oklahoma State ?⚫️
4. TCU ??
5. Utah ?— Noah Daniels (@NoahDB21) December 1, 2016
Daniels received an offer from Missouri at the end of November, then decommitted days later. He has since picked up offers from Utah and Oklahoma, and garnering interest from many schools. He is a 6-foot cornerback who plays athlete for Clear Creek, filling in at running back as a swiss-army knife lining up all over the field.
OSU would be well-advised to add a cornerback to the 2017 class. Outside of the starters, the Cowboys have had a difficult time finding cornerbacks beyond the two-deep, and bringing in a younger presence could be a good way to force competition amongst the group.
