Former OSU Center Lucas N’Guessan Transferring to East Tennessee State
Former Oklahoma State big man Lucas N’Guessan, who announced two months ago his intentions to transfer away from the program, has landed at East Tennessee State in the Southern Conference according to Jeff Goodman.
N’Guessan spent the last two seasons in Stillwater and appeared in 54 games for the Pokes.
East Tennessee State has landed Oklahoma State transfer Lucas N’Guessan. 7-footer who will have 2 years left. Steve Forbes continues to add talent and will likely contend for SoCon title again. Is 76-29 in 3 years at ETSU with one NCAA tourney appearance.

ETSU is one of the premier SoCon programs. Under the coaching of Steve Forbes, who has been mentioned for years as worthy of a high major coaching gig, the Buccaneers have finished in the top two of the conference three of the past seasons. They also made an NCAA Tournament appearance two seasons ago.
N’Guessan played sparingly at Oklahoma State and wasn’t particularly productive, averaging 1.9 points, 1.8 rebounds and 17 starts in a 9.2 minutes-per-game average in two seasons. He wasn’t likely to have a big impact at OSU in 2018 and beyond, so finding a spot like ETSU that is known for development and strong coaching in a non Power 5 league may be exactly what he needs to thrive.
I’m N’Guessan he’s got to be happy with his decision.
