A long-time havoc-wreaker for years leading OSU’s defense, former Cowboy Calvin Bundage has found a new place to destroy opposing offenses.

The ex-Poke has officially landed in the Indoor Football League as a member of the Massachusetts Pirates, and so far, so good. Bundage this week grabbed an INT and helped hold the opposing team’s offense to only (!!) 58 points — a laughably high number that somehow still led to a 72-58 victory for his team. (Scroll through some of his media shared below and you’ll see he has kept his famous Connor McGregor sack celebration. Praise be!)

Bundage went undrafted in the 2021 NFL Draft but caught on with the Pittsburgh Steelers as a free agent, where he spent time as a practice squad member. He recently worked out earlier this year in the XFL showcase as well and appears to be sticking around in the pro football ranks — at least for now — in the Indoor Football League.

The Massachusetts Pirates are all the better for it, too, it appears: through 10 games they are 7-3 on the year having won five of their last six. The 72-58 win this past week over Frisco helped them move into a tie for second place in the East and within a game of Frisco in first place.
