Four-Star 2025 Running Back Michael Turner Announces an Oklahoma State Offer
Turner is the No. 8 running back in the nation according to one service.

Oklahoma State is the latest school to reach out to a talented Texas running back.
Michael Turner, a four-star 2025 running back, announced an OSU offer Monday night. It’s the 12th offer for the four-star rusher.
Who is He?
Turner is a dynamic and decorated running back from North Richland Hills High School (Texas). As a sophomore last year, he ran for 849 yards (8.5 yards per carry) and 12 touchdowns. That earned him admission to the Texas District 5-5A D-I first team. Before that, he saw the field as a freshman, amassing 180 yards and two scores. He also showed off his speed on the track, taking part in the 4×100 and 4×200 relays as a sophomore this past spring.
But Turner boasts more than just speed.
At 5-foot-11.5 and 190 pounds, Turner has the size to step onto a college campus and compete — with two years of high school left — and he showed that off with some bruising plays last year (see below). And he’s also shown capable of contributing to the passing game when asked. He totaled 139 receiving yards the last two years, and that includes limited reps as a freshman.
In the Rankings
On3: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ / No. 96 nationally
Rivals: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ / No. 155 nationally
247Sports: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ / No. 180 nationally
ESPN: ⭐⭐⭐ / No. 257 nationally
Turner is a four-star prospect according to three of the major recruiting services with On3, 247 and Rivals each ranking him as a Top 15 running back in the class. On3 holds him the highest, tabbing Turner as the No. 8 RB in the class and No. 19 Texas prospect.
Others Involved
This makes offer No. 12 for Turner. That list includes a who’s who of current and future Big 12 schools and others, with Oklahoma, Baylor, Colorado, Arizona State, Houston, Texas Tech, Duke and Wisconsin among them. The Buffaloes were the first to come calling in May of 2022.
OSU in 2025
The Cowboys have yet to land a pledge for the 2025 cycle, but Turner is the eighth rusher that OSU running backs coach John Wozniak has extended an offer to. Four-star RB Wesley Yarbrough announced an OSU offer on Saturday.
