Gabriel Rodriguez, Younger Brother of Malcolm Rodriguez, Commits to OSU
Gabriel will join the football program as a walk-on.
The Rodriguez defensive pipeline will continue on at Oklahoma State.
Malcolm Rodriguez’s younger brother, Gabriel, announced on Wednesday that he will be joining the OSU football program this upcoming year less than two months after OSU formally offered him a spot on the team. He is expected to join the team as a walk-on.
Rodriguez is a listed 5-foot-9, 164-pound prospect in the 2023 class who will likely play safety. At Wagoner he played as a defensive back and as a do-it-all weapon on offense both catching passes and carrying the rock.
This past season at Wagoner, Rodriguez, like his older brother Malcolm, led the team to a state title while totaling more than 100 tackles on defense and adding 1,465 all-purpose yards on offense. You can catch his highlights here.
