The Washington State-to-Oklahoma State route is starting to become a receiver pipeline for the Cowboys.

Two years after Tay Martin made an impact after transferring to OSU from Washington State, De’Zhaun Stribling made the same move this offseason. A major difference in Stribling, though, is that he still has two years of eligibility left as a junior.

Stribling made an immediate impact in his OSU debut, catching four passes for 73 yards, leading all Cowboy receivers. He caught his first touchdown as a Cowboy in the third quarter Saturday night against Arizona State– a 3-yard pass from Gunnar Gundy to give OSU the lead.

Stribling, at 6-foot-3, was no slouch for the Cougars, playing in every game since stepping on campus in 2021. Last season, Stribling led Washington State in every major receiving category with 51 catches, 602 yards and five TDs. He had 44 catches for 471 yards and five TDs as a freshman. Stribling led all Pac-12 freshmen in all of those categories.

Stribling is from Kapolei, Hawaii (on Oahu), where he was a three-star prospect and All-State selection. Stribling once recorded a receiving, rushing and passing score in a single high school game.
