Hoops Recruiting: Top 10 Player in 2025 Class Taking Visit to Stillwater During Homecoming
Boynton is bringing a five-star prospect to Stillwater during homecoming.

Mike Boynton and his staff are off to an early start on the 2025 recruiting class, but that goes beyond the early commitment from Carlsheon Young.
Joson Sanon, the No. 10 player in the 247Sports Composite rankings, is taking an official visit the weekend of homecoming, according to Andrew Slater. He reportedly also has visits scheduled to Arizona (Nov. 18), LSU (Nov. 24) and Kansas (Dec. 21).
A 6-foot-5 wing from Vermont Academy, Sanon is a five-star prospect, according to the Composite rankings and ESPN. Oklahoma State offered Sanon in late September.
Playing with Expressions on the Nike EYBL circuit this summer, Sanon averaged 15.2 points and 3.4 rebounds a game in five games at Peach Jam. He shot 38% from 3-point range at the event, going 12-for-32 in five games.
Young’s early commitment to the Cowboys’ 2025 class means OSU has the No. 2 class in the country at this early stage. Finding a way to get Sanon to pledge to the Pokes could take this thing to an entirely different level. His 0.9956 247Sports Composite ranking would make him the No. 4 commit in program history, according to 247. He would be behind Le’Bryan Nash and ahead of Marcus Smart.
