Injury Report: Blaine Green, Jason Brooks Jr. Set to Play in Bedlam, Jaden Bray Questionable
Some good news for the Pokes ahead of Bedlam.
STILLWATER — The Cowboys are getting a little healthier heading into Bedlam.
On Oklahoma State’s pregame radio show, Dave Hunziker said wide receiver Blaine Green would play after missing the Cincinnati game with injury. Hunziker also reported that left guard Jason Brooks Jr. practiced this week and should be good to play. Wide receiver Jaden Bray appears to be a game-time decision.
Brooks has been part of an offensive line that has seen a resurgence during OSU’s four-game winning streak. Hunziker said he wasn’t sure whether Brooks would start against Oklahoma but that he would likely play. If Brooks doesn’t start, expect Cole Birmingham to continue manning that spot.
The Cowboys left Morgantown thin at wide receiver with injuries to Green, Bray and Talyn Shettron.
A big-bodied pass-catcher from Allen, Texas, Green has 13 receptions this season for 102 yards. He has the ability to play on the inside or outside.
Despite missing last week, Bray is the Cowboys’ leader in receiving yards. He has 27 catches this year for 349 yards and a touchdown.
Oklahoma State and Oklahoma kick off at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in Boone Pickens Stadium.
