Inside the Locker Room: OSU Celebrates KU Sweep as Boynton Points to Future
After his team’s 82-64 signature win over No. 6 Kansas, Mike Boynton entered the home locker room jubilant and started off the celebration by exchanging jabs with his routine sparring partner, Jeffrey Carroll, who has played his last game inside Gallagher-Iba Arena.
“You seniors, thank you guys,” Boynton said. “For the rest of you guys, this is just the beginning, like I told them out there.
“We’re going to look back in 10, 20 years and we’re going to say ‘this is the team that laid the foundation, that set the tone for what this program will become.”
Mike Boynton, feeling good: "This is just the beginning. We will hang a banner in this building." #okstate
