James Washington Made an Insane One-Handed TD Grab in Steelers Training Camp
Good receivers make good quarterbacks look good on the football field. Great receivers make mediocre quarterbacks looks great.
Such was the case on Thursday when James Washington, the reigning Biletnikoff Award winner who is in the midst of his first NFL training camp with the Steelers, had to extend his body backward to accomodate for a lagging pass from QB Josh Dobbs.
The result was an absurd one-handed TD grab that had Steel City buzzing.

Look at that!
Throw behind him? No problem for @JamesWashington who made the play of the day for six on this one-handed stab. #DKPS #Steelers pic.twitter.com/43gcSt4GBA

Washington getting some run Thursday is an excellent sign because he’d left practice early in the week with an apparent injury. He’s also getting a little extra reps, due to All-Pro wideout Antonio Brown catching a bite from the injury bug as well this week.
Washington may not yet be back to full health, but darnet if that won’t stop him from making OBJ-like plays look routine as brushing your teeth in Pittsburgh.
