A pair of former Pokes will have to spend some time away from their respective NFL teams.
Pittsburgh Steelers receiver James Washington and Buffalo Bills defensive lineman Vincent Taylor were recently placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list.
Appearing on the list doesn’t necessarily mean Washington or Taylor tested positive for COVID-19. The list is for players who either test positive for COVID-19 or who has been quarantined after having been in close contact with an infected person, according to the Steelers’ release.
If a player falls into either of those categories, he must immediately be placed on the list.
Washington and Taylor won’t be allowed to return to team activities until they have multiple negative tests consecutively.
In two seasons with the Steelers, Washington has caught 60 of his 118 targets for 952 yards and four touchdowns.
In three pro seasons, Taylor has played in 24 games where he has 51 tackles, five tackles for loss and two sacks.
