Joe Randle Smiles for Mugshot, Charged With Four Misdemeanor Counts

As you know, Joe Randle was recently arrested again. It happened in a Kansas casino, and we now have specifics. Randle has been “formally charged with four misdemeanor counts.” Here’s the Dallas Morning News.

The complaint, which was filed at 9:29 Tuesday morning and lists Randle’s home address in Irving, accuses Randle of initially using “fighting words” and engaging in “noisy conduct tending reasonably to arouse alarm, anger, or resentment in others” while sitting at a blackjack table. When he was warned to stop, says the complaint, Randle “spit on the casino floor” and started using “abusive language” toward the dealer and other casino employees.

Sweet.

When asked to leave, says the complaint, Randle refused and instead “continued to use abusive language” before being escorted out by casino workers. He tried to re-enter, says the complaint, but was stopped by Kansas Racing and Gaming Commission agents. And once again, says the complaint, Randle started tried to pick a fight and refused to leave. But at some point, says the complaint, he went one step further: When a gaming commission agent showed Randle his badge, says the county attorney, “Randle used profanity to threaten Agent Daniels with bodily harm.”

Sounds legit.

At that point, Randle began resisting arrest, even running away from the agent at one point. When they finally caught up to him, says the complaint, he again “physically resisted being handcuffed.”

Like I said yesterday. Forget 2015, Mike Gundy’s greatest coaching job ever was keeping a lid on Joe Randle, Justin Gilbert and Justin Blackmon at the same time.
