Jordan Oliver now has all of 1:05 of experience in the professional MMA world.

Oliver, a former Oklahoma State wrestler, defeated Andrew Triolo via submission with an arm-triangle 1:05 into the first round of his Bellator debut Friday night. It was a featherweight bout at Bellator 298 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

Oliver was a two-time national champion for the Cowboys in 2011 and 2013. He was also a finalist in 2012 and finished fourth as a freshman in 2010.

Oliver also compiled a successful international wrestling career, making the 2020 U.S. Olympic Team, but Oliver did not get to compete at the 2020 Summer Olympic Games because the U.S. failed to qualify at the weight.

Oliver announced in March that he signed with Bellator to pursue an MMA career. His former OSU teammate, Kyle Crutchmer, also fights in the Bellator promotion.
