Josh Cooper by The Numbers

Don’t look now but Josh Cooper is making a nice run at some pretty illustrious Oklahoma State receiving records.

I didn’t include all the people ahead of him in receiving yards, just the ones you’d heard of, but he has a pretty decent shot at moving up to 8th all-time behind Adarius Bowman (2,187 yards) and Hermann Eben (1,973) who, again I didn’t include because nobody knows who he is.

In terms of receptions – he’s going to pass Bowman (maybe this weekend), he’s most likely going to pass Dez, and even has a decent shot at D’Juan. All he needs to do is average 5.5 catches the rest of the way and he’s averaging 5.38 since the beginning of last year.
