Josh Holliday Gets Cowboys Fired Up After Taking OKC Regional on Monday
Shortly after the win over UConn, Holliday hyped his team for the Supers.
Oklahoma State took the Oklahoma City Regional on Monday night with a 3-1 win over UConn and heads to Lubbock on Friday night for the Super Regional against Texas Tech.
Following the big win, Josh Holliday addressed his team giving kudos to the pitching staff and defense and added some constructive admonishment for his offense.
But his main point? This thing ain’t over, baby.
“You know what the best part is? We get to stay together for another week,” Holliday told his players. “We get to keep doing this together, baby! This group of guys gets to continue to have this experience together and there is nothing better than another week together to keep extending it, fellas.”

Later, during his post-game press conference, Holliday expanded on this sentiment.
“I’m very proud of these kids,” Holliday said. “As I told them, the greatest gift of winning tonight is the extension of our team’s time together.
“We get a chance to keep doing this, together, and that means a whole lot this time of year, especially when relationships and bonds and investment is as strong as it is with this group of kids.”
Can the Lubbock Super Regional start tomorrow? I’m ready, and it looked like the team was too following that speech.
