JUCO OL Plans Official Visit to Stillwater
Oklahoma State desperately needs to bring in reinforcements along the offensive line, and thus far they have done a great job in recruiting to bring in fresh bodies.
For the Cowboys, they need some bodies who can contribute right away. Most 18-year old offensive lineman prospects simply can’t plug and play at the Div. I level, so the coaching staff is targeting several junior college prospects to come in.
Among the targets, Oklahoma State already has one commitment from junior college offensive lineman Larry Williams, formerly of East Carolina. Another offensive line target on the list is Shane Richards, a 6-foot-6, 325 pound mauler from New Mexico Military Institute. Richards announced on Tuesday his plans to make an official visit to Stillwater.

Richards would be a welcome veteran addition to a youthful offensive line group that has struggled over the last two seasons. Richards has been a high priority target for the Cowboys, and he has already received a scholarship offer earlier this year.
