Kalib Boone, Moussa Cisse Named to All-Big 12 Teams
The Cowboys’ big men earned All-Big 12 honors.

The Big 12 released its end-of-season awards and a pair of Oklahoma State’s big men were honored.
Kalib Boone was named to the All-Big 12 Third Team, his first all-conference honor, and Moussa Cisse earned All-Defensive team honors for the second year in a row. Cisse was named Co-Defensive Player of the Year last season.
Boone has had a career season averaging 11.5 points per game, 5.1 rebounds and is third in the Big 12 in blocks at 1.1 per game. He had an impressive stretch from Jan. 2 through Feb. 1 in which he scored in double digits in nine of 10 games (he had eight in the other). He scored a career-high 27 points in OSU’s loss to Kansas on Feb. 14.
Cisse started every game for the Cowboys until he suffered an ankle injury against West Virginia which saw him miss four games. His start in the season finale was his first since his return. But despite missing that time — and playing at less than 100% for much of the time since — Cisse leads the league in blocks and is second in rebounds per game.
The Cowboys are in action in Kansas City on Wednesday at 8:30 p.m. They’ll look to make it 3-0 against Oklahoma in the 7/10 matchup of the 2023 Phillips 66 Big 12 Championship.
