Ricker, a former All-Big 12 First Team center for Missouri, came to OSU when Josh Henson left staff to join Arizona State as their offensive line coach. Henson later rejoined the staff to replace dismissed offensive line coach Greg Adkins. Coincidentally, Henson was Ricker’s offensive coordinator when Ricker served as offensive line coach at Missouri from 2014-2015.
This leaves one (and potentially two) of three analyst spots for the Cowboys vacant. Bill Clay and Brian VanGorder served as defensive analysts for last season, although there has been speculation that VanGorder could become the Cowboys’ linebackers coach following defensive coordinator Glenn Spencer’s departure.
