Kickoff Time, TV Schedule for Cowboys’ Big 12 Opener against West Virginia Announced
It’s an afternoon kick for the Pokes and Mountaineers.
The Cowboys will start their nine-game conference slate in the afternoon.
Oklahoma State and West Virginia will kickoff at 2:30 p.m. Sept. 26 in Boone Pickens Stadium with the game being held on either ABC or ESPN.
The Cowboys had three 2:30 p.m. kicks in 2019 and won all of those games.
The Mountaineers kicked off their 2020 schedule this past weekend with a 56-10 win against Eastern Kentucky. It wasn’t the toughest opponent, but considering three of the seven Big 12 games Saturday ended in Big 12 losses, WVU will take it.
Mountaineer quarterback Jarret Doege threw for 228 yards and three touchdowns. WVU also had running backs Leddie Brown (not to be confused with LD Brown) and Alec Sinkfield finish the game with 123 rushing yards and two touchdowns apiece.
WVU has next weekend off.
The Cowboys have beaten WVU in their past five meetings and are 7-4 against the Mountaineers all time.
