Kickoff Times, TV Schedule Announced for Oklahoma State Non-Conference Schedule
ESPN and Fox hit us with a mid-afternoon #newsdump on Thursday by announcing broadcasting schedules for the opening three weeks of the 2018 college football season.
In a bit of a surprise, Oklahoma State’s season-opener against Missouri State has been moved to Thursday, Aug. 30 at 7 p.m. and will be televised by FS1 nationally. It will be the third time in four seasons the Cowboys open their season on a Thursday, the most recent being last season against Tulsa.
Oklahoma State’s second game of the season, another home game against South Alabama, will stay on its regularly scheduled date of Sept. 8 and will air at 7 p.m. on Fox’s main station. So yes, Boone Pickens Stadium will finally get usage of its stadium lights for a weekend night game.
The following week, when Boise State comes to town for OSU’s final non-conference battle, it will be aired at 2:30 p.m. and picked up on either ABC, ESPN, ESPN2 or ESPNU.
