Kirk Herbstreit, Chris Fowler and Maria Taylor on ABC Call for OSU-Texas
In a packed house Saturday night as OSU faces sixth-ranked Texas for homecoming, there will be an extra buzz in town with ESPN’s A-crew — Herbstreit, Fowler and Taylor — calling the game for ABC.
Kirk Herbstreit, Chris Fowler and Maria Taylor are a staple of ESPN’s College Gameday show. And crazy enough: They started their Saturday in Florida. They’ll book it to Stillwater on Saturday night, presumably by plane or by Lamborghini, in time for the 7 p.m. kick.
Herbstreit has some history in Stillwater, most infamously for his spooked face — (see featured image above) — after an earthquake shook him to his core while he was calling a game back in 2011.
Here’s to hoping we get, at minimum, one Herbie meme from the game no matter the final outcome.
