Kirk Herbstreit, Chris Fowler Calling Bedlam
The A-list crew from ESPN will be on Saturday’s call.
ESPN’s College GameDay crew will be in Norman on Saturday ahead of Bedlam, setting up the network’s A-list crew to call this year’s game: Chris Fowler, Kirk Herbstreit and Holly Rowe.
The legendary broadcasters will headline Saturday night’s coverage of the rivalry game on ABC. Fowler and Herbstreit will be in the booth, and Rowe will be on sideline duties. The Cowboy Radio Network will carry the game for those non-TV watchers, with Dave Hunziker and John Holcomb leading that coverage. The great Robert Allen will report from the sideline as always.
Fowler and Herbie have a fun history of calling OSU games — including an epic moment in 2011 that gave us the Herbie earthquake face — when there was an earthquake that shook the stadium in Stillwater live on television. But more than that, it’s nice to have the best broadcasters of the sport on what will undoubtedly be the biggest game in the college football world on Saturday.
