Kyle Crutchmer Falls for First Time in MMA Career at Bellator 249
Crutchmer falls to Kemran Lachinov and moves to 6-1 in MMA career.
Kyle Crutchmer, the former Oklahoma State wrestler and two-time All-American, fought his seventh MMA fight on Thursday at Bellator 249.
Crutchmer took on Kemran Lachinov, a 9-2 welterweight fighter out of Springfield, Massachusetts.
The fight as a whole was pretty even. The first round I had for Crutchmer. There were some good exchanges from both fighters, but Crutchmer had a lot of energy early. He landed a big head kick to start the fight and finished off the round with this takedown.

The second and third rounds were close. A number of good exchanges between both fighters and even this strange moment where Lachinov walked into Crutchmer with his hands down and took a few straight shots to his face.
Ultimately it went all three rounds and came down to a judges decision. All three judges scored the first round for Crutchmer and the next two for Lachinov giving Crutchmer the first loss of his career.
