LISTEN: Central Michigan Radio Call of Game-Winning Hail Mary
If you’re an Oklahoma State fan, odds are you probably don’t want to re-live the horror that was the last play from Saturday’s loss to Central Michigan. You know the story by now. Mason Rudolph chucked a 4th down pass out of bounds as the clock expired, seemingly ending the game.
Upon further discussion from the refs (who have all been suspended), Rudolph was called for intentional grounding, and the Chippewas were wrongly allowed one final untimed down to pull off one of the most stunning finishes we’ve ever seen to a college football game.
The CMU call of the final untimed down from Saturday is pretty incredible. Central Michigan radio play-by-play man Don Chiodo and color commentator Brock Gutierrez call the Chippewas’ miracle here, who are just about as shocked as all of us watching it unfold..
Can’t blame ‘em for losing their minds over what is sure to be the unlikely finish of the 2016 college football season, even if the play never should have happened.
