Marcus Smart to Host Concert Dedicated in His Name
Current Boston Celtics point guard Marcus Smart is having an eventful offseason to say the least. The former OSU star will be the special guest for ‘Marcus Smart Weekend’ in Texas this coming weekend.

Along with Smart, the event will feature modern artists Fabulous and Jacquees, among others. Dallas radio personality J Cruz of 97.9 will host the three-day concert.
The event will be held in Arlington, 30 miles south of his hometown of Flower Mound, TX. Smart will personally host the concert on Sunday, June 19, along with model Bernice Burgos.
It’s safe to say that Smart is probably the first OSU alumnus to have a concert dedicated in his name. Hopefully he won’t flop off the stage.
