Markel Brown is at the LeBron James Skills Academy this week. He seems genuinely nervous — I guess talking to a young, pretty girl who works for a national outlet is different than chatting with Robert Allen every other day.
Of note:
— Markel said he’s working on playing the 1 because that’s what he’ll have to do in the NBA/Europe. Believe I’ve been saying this for three years now…
— “It’s a pretty well group of kids.”
— “We should be in the top two of the Big 12.”
— “I had to wear a cowboy hat and I had to ride a horse.” BUT WAS IT DAYTAWION LOWE’S HORSE?!
