Oklahoma State’s Mason Rudolph was one of 10 Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award finalists named on Wednesday.

The annual award honors senior/fourth-year quarterbacks for their play on the field, as well as their character and leadership off of it, according to the foundation’s website.

Rudolph is college football’s leading passer in total yards through the air with 2,866 through eight games (doubling up on other QB’s on the list), and is tied for third in touchdowns tossed, too. Here’s a look at the other signal callers on the list and how his stats stack up.

QB School Yds/Game Pass TDs
Mason Rudolph OSU 358.3 22
Baker Mayfield OU 351.0 23
J.T. Barrett tOSU 344.4 25
Riley Ferguson Memphis 322.9 23
Logan Woodside Toledo 286.9 19
Ryan Finley NC State 272.6 12
Trace McSorley Penn State 258.9 16
Kenny Hill TCU 232.9 15
Quinton Flowers USF 196.3 12
Nick Fitzgerald Miss. St. 165.0 13

Rudolph has enjoyed a record-breaking senior campaign in which he has topped the Oklahoma State history books in completions, passing TDs, total TDs, and wins as a starting QB.

“He’s a good player, but his mental and unselfish contribution to this program has been through the roof,” said Gundy last Saturday after OSU’s win over West Virginia.

“He deserves all the records and everything that he breaks,” Gundy continued. “He deserves them all. He’s been a fantastic player. His leadership and mental approach has been unbelievable, and that’s why he’s been such a special player for us at Oklahoma State.”
