Mason Rudolph to Pat Mahomes: ‘Tortillas Sound Tasty’
Mason Rudolph politely slid his name across the table of the Heisman trophy discussion on Saturday with nearly 500 yards and five touchdowns during Oklahoma State’s drumming of Pittsburgh.
Plenty took notice of Rudolph’s big game including his former Big 12 counterpart and current Kansas City Chief, Patrick Mahomes.
Tortillas sound tasty
— Mason Rudolph (@Rudolph2Mason) September 16, 2017
Rudolph, who rarely tweets (much less after a game), replied with the confidence of someone who just broke his own school record for passing yards in a half and threw four receivers into triple digits for the first time in 12 years. The tortilla remark is a reference to Tech’s tortilla-throwing tradition (one of the few they don’t accuse Oklahoma State of stealing).
QB1 is showing more swagger than ever and I love it.
Note: Oklahoma State hasn’t lost a game in Lubbock since Rudolph was 13 years old.
