Mike Gundy has “No Interest” in USC Job
The USC job(s) have both come open in the past week, with Steve Sarkisian’s termination and Steve Spurrier’s surprise retirement.
When asked about the opening [Southern California], Gundy shot down any interest.
“First off I don’t have any interest in the job. I have all the respect in the world for SC but I’ve got a great job. We talked about that a year ago. If you’re having success at Oklahoma State in football and jobs open, then people will compile a list and the coach here will usually be onit if you’re winning and having success. But I feel like I have a better job. It’s a great job, but I’ve got a good job where I’m at.”
Not that many OSU fans were concerned, but it’s a big relief to hear those words straight from Gundy.
