Mike Gundy Named to Dodd Watch List
Oklahoma State head coach Mike Gundy is one of 20 coaches named to the midseason watch list for the 2015 Dodd Trophy, an award presented to the coach whose program represents the highest ideals both on and off the field.
From the official release:
The head coaches on the watch list represent programs with the highest ideals of leadership, scholarship and integrity on and off the field – the three pillars of legendary coach Bobby Dodd’s philosophy. Each of the coaches sits at the helm of programs with winning records, superior Academic Progress Rate (APR) scores and graduation rates, and a strong commitment to service within their communities.
Gundy joins fellow Big 12 coaches Bob Stoops, Gary Patterson and Art Briles on the list.
Mike Gundy’s Cowboys are 6-0 and are looking to become 7-0 for the fourth time ever in program history against Kansas this weekend.
