Naomie Alnatas has been impressive in her first season in Stillwater and opposing Big 12 coaches have taken notice.

The Oklahoma State guard was named to the All-Big 12 First Team on Monday as voted by league coaches who were unable to vote for their own players.

The former Kansas City star followed first-year head coach Jacie Hoyt to OSU and has started all 30 games for the Cowgirls. After leading the Summit Conference in scoring last year, Alnatas ranks 13th in the Big 12 at 13.7 points per game, ranks ninth in assists (3.7) and eighth in made 3-pointers (2.2 average). Her 2.22 assist-to-turnover ratio is second in the conference and 33nd nationally.

Alnatas is the first Cowgirl to earn All-Big 12 honors since Lauren Fields (Second Team) in 2021-22 and the first to be selected to the First Team since Natasha Mack in 2020-21. Alnatas was named to the All-Tournament team at the Women’s Cancun Challenge early in the season and was named Big 12 Player of the Week on Jan. 16.

Alnatas and the fourth-seeded Cowgirls will be in action on Friday at 11 a.m. when they face West Virginia in the Phillips 66 Women’s Basketball Championship.
